Bequests

Thank you for considering leaving a gift to Empower Golf in your will.

If golf has been an important part of your life, then we believe there is no better way to ensure that your love of golf is shared with people who may not otherwise have the opportunity.

There are a number of different ways you can help Empower Golf in your will.

Share of your estate – Residuary gift
Of course family and loved ones must come first, but if life has been good to you, you can give a part or the entire residue of your estate. This is the remainder of your estate once all your loved ones and charges have been paid. A residuary gift could be a percentage or the whole of the residue of your estate.

A specific gift
You may wish to leave us a particular item (known as a specific bequest), which can be sold to support our work, or passed onto a disabled person. It could be real estate or an item of value such as art, a piece of jewellery, or golfing memorabilia or equipment.

Peace of mind
It is important to seek legal advice in the drafting of your will, and to inform your loved ones of your intentions.

As many of our players have discovered, life can change in the blink of an eye. To prepare for the future, ensure that you have a properly prepared and executed will.
