NDIS and Golf

Empower Golf supports the NDIS as a positive step to improve the lives of Australians living with a disability. The NDIS enables participants to think beyond basic functional support needs, to set and achieve whole of life goals. Your goals could include sporting participation and social inclusion.

In fact, after attendant care, recreation is the next largest pool of budgeted funds in the NDIS. Yes, the government sees it as that important!

How Empower Golf Can Help

Empower Golf Australia is registered as a Service Provider with the NDIS, so that we can build upon our Come and Try Golf clinics. We are developing a wide range of services to enhance the lives of people living with a disability.

Why Golf and Disability?

Your NDIS plan – Setting your goals

Your NDIS plan is based on your goals and aspirations, now and for the future. It is important to ensure that your goals include not just your functional support needs for daily living, but also your goals for personal improvement and participation in the community.

Participation in golf as an activity and community inclusion must be included as a goal in your plan.

Note: These may be included as a goal initially or during any review of your plan.

We have helped others to include golf development as part of their NDIS support plan, so please speak to us, if you would like assistance to include golf in your plan. Email James or call him on 0466-825 044.
